Here’s a shot of a simple yet effective use of dimension and digital graphics. This identification sign is for the Monmouth University Student Government Association, (SGA) . The sign is mounted to the block wall with blind screws, silicone and 3M VHB tape, which is truly overkill for most settings, but perhaps not for a setting that sees as much traffic as this sign will. Although it’s light, at only five pounds, I wanted to make sure it was up there for good. If they ever paint they wall the painters will be in for a surprise! We crafted the sign from 3/4" and 1" gatorfoam with digitally printed face graphics. It’s a little tough to see in the shot, but there are two layers of graphics, which makes for a nice finished look. Add some dimension to your next project!
