Mobil advertising does not always have to be applied to a new vehicle to be effective. Here’s an older van that came in looking pretty rough. It had been lettered in the past by an unknown sign maker that had unfortunately use some really poor quality vinyl. Subsequently all of the lettering was faded, peeling and cracking. Pretty typical of the use of short term vinyl on a vehicle. While it has it’s uses, the cheaper grades of short term vinyl are truly not for vehicle use and are not used on vehicles that we produce. We were able to remove all of the horrible old lettering and get this nice, clean design applied in just under a day. Although the customer was on a tight budget, they came in with a totally useless vehicle with respect to promotion and left with a powerful vehicle advertising tool. If you’ve got an older vehicle that’s still working for your business, consider making it work a bit harder as an advertising tool as well.
