the Atlantic City press has a great article on the effectiveness of on premise roadside signs. Specifically the use of changeable message readerboards (which we make a lot of……and use ourselves).

One local business owner noted: “My actual thinking,” Williams says, “was more people would look at that than the Williams Appliance sign. But eventually their eyes would go up to Williams Appliance. It’s kind of now evolved into a responsibility.” Everyone expects him to keep his messages fresh.
