A lot of people ask "Wow-How Do You Do That?" Well, here's a little snippet of how we produce, prepare and install mobile advertising graphics on a typical box truck. We're using 3M Controltac vinyl on this job, that's been printed and cut via our solvent ink vinyl printer and vinyl plotter with optical recognition eye to register the printed graphics.

Here's a shot of the printed, laminated and cut graphics on the table ready to be application taped. We apply the tape to the graphics so that all of the letters can be transferred easily and cleanly to the vehicle.

here we are applying all of the traditional cut vinyl sub copy. We're using Oracal 851 high performance cast vinyl. We really like this product and the way it handles.

Here, the large graphics are being applied. We're using a center hinge method and applying the graphics dry. People often think vinyl should be applied wet (think windex), but truthfully vinyl is designed to be applied dry. There are certain materials where a wet application will help and other materials and circumstances where a wet application will actually ruin the material.

The completed Academy Security vehicle advertising project. Thanks Joe and December, for this and all of your previous orders.
Oh, And, I left the big box of business cards that we made with the logo and a few freebies on the wilderness lodge table on your front porch on Sunday.

Mobil advertising does not always have to be applied to a new vehicle to be effective. Here's an older van that came in looking pretty rough. It had been lettered in the past by an unknown sign maker that had unfortunately use some really poor quality vinyl. Subsequently all of the lettering was faded, peeling and cracking. Pretty typical of the use of short term vinyl on a vehicle. While it has it's uses, the cheaper grades of short term vinyl are truly not for vehicle use and are not used on vehicles that we produce. We were able to remove all of the horrible old lettering and get this nice, clean design applied in just under a day. Although the customer was on a tight budget, they came in with a totally useless vehicle with respect to promotion and left with a powerful vehicle advertising tool. If you've got an older vehicle that's still working for your business, consider making it work a bit harder as an advertising tool as well.

With a degree in Business and a double major in Marketing and Advertising, Sampson Gortner understands the value of powerful advertising tools and the results they generate. We created Sampson's first vehicle advertising program a few years ago and it was a big success. So successful that Sampson has expanded his real estate business and once again turned to us to execute his mobile advertising campaign. This vehicle is unique because it not only advertises for Sampson, it also advertises for his clients. This is a new twist in real estate marketing, and in a competitive marketplace makes Sampson stand out from the crowd. If you need to stand out in your crowded marketplace, we may be able to help. I'm always available via email and phone during the daytime hours. Thanks, Sampson!

I've mentioned many times that our entire team really considers anything we put on a vehicle to be an advertising tool for your business. One of the keys to any successful business venture is not only careful planning of the expenditure of advertising dollars but also the creation of effective advertising tools. Tools designed and executed by professionals are often the most carefully planned and the most effective. Dollar for dollar vehicle advertising garners the largest exposure counts for very reasonable costs for the longest period of time of practically any advertising medium. Radio station owners have long realized the power of vehicle graphics and Press Communications is no exception. These graphics were recently created for the new country station K98.5 Radio.

This was a really fun project that we produced as a donation to DVGRR. They're a great organization providing all types of support to displaced golden retrievers. Rescuing and caring for dogs is a costly proposition and DVGRR needed a bit of help on this one. The layouts were designed by Westlawn Graphic, which were supplied as digital files. We adjusted the files for the actual vehicle, produced and installed all of the images, lettering and logos here in the shop. The images are digitally printed onto 3M Controltac vinyl with Clearstar laminate for many years of service. The doggies themselves have their families names nearby to recognize the volunteers that gave their time to have their own adopted dogs photographed. Adopting a dog is a lengthly proposition that requires careful consideration of among other things household climate and the presence of other dogs and children. Hopefully once Logan gets a bit older we'll be able to adopt a golden that needs a good home!

I've often been asked to make very large magnetic signs. Until recently it's been difficult to get any material wider than 24". Well, we now have access to some really large magnetic material. In fact it's so wide that we can make magnetic signs that are close to impractical. These large magnets for the new country radio station K98.5 Real Jersey Kountry are a whopping 40" tall and seven feet wide. Two to even three people are needed to apply them to the vehicle, but it makes a very effective and flexible solution to a vehicle advertising dilemma...how to advertise multiple things on one vehicle at different times.

When our client John Brennan bought Nardi's this spring, he wanted to improve upon the long standing party bus for his drinking establishment. It's a great way to help keep drunk drivers off of the roads, while still allowing patrons to enjoy themselves. John wanted his new bus to be noticeable, and we took care of that handily.

CSE is the premier home theater builder, and we thank Chris for his business. This box truck wrap is sure to bring him business..... we have had two people ask about his services just from the truck sitting in our lot. That's the power of the sign.....

This is an excellent example of the fact that you don't need to wrap an entire vehicle to gain incredible advertising value. A bit of pre-planning in the design stage allows the phones to be easily changed without disturbing the rest of the design, so when the next hot phones come out, they can easily be swapped out on the van without re-doing the entire job—saving the client time and money.
